We Are ~ Meet The Guides!

Over
the last few years various TV programmes have been made around
and about Parys Mountain, this has meant that more and more
people have seen its wonders and had a flovour of its stories
and wanted to see for themselves. |
| A
group of highly dedicated local volunteers began the long journey
that has been the creation of the 'Copper
Kingdom' project, a chance for the local community to
open its doors to the world and share the richness of its heritage
and the splendour of its sights. From this project, WalkAmlwch
was born, giving local people a chance to show you that wealth. |

| Our
highly trained guides are all enthusiasts, many of us underground
on the mountain as well as above! It's fair to say that we do the
job for the love of it and for the chance to show the Copper Kingdom
off to the world. Most of us walk the mountain or port on a daily
basis and between us we have a massive archive of written history
and photographs and we draw on this to make your tour as rich and
enjoyable as possible. You'll love the history, marvel at the sights,
but enjoy your tour. |
